Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair 2020

The Nuremberg Toy Fair is a world leading industry event and is now in its 71st year. This year saw the highest levels of visitors and exhibitors from over 136 countries. Around 2,843 companies exhibited and once again we were well placed in the British Pavilion.

Kit for Kids new revamped stand was a hit with everyone who visited. With a brand new carpet display, customers could look through our new designs with ease. The tactile experience showed off our various carpet piles, allowing for people to easily understand the difference between them.   

Special attention was paid to developing and expanding all product categories this year. New products in the Soft Furniture range were received with great excitement. The Rainbow™ Shaped cushions were very popular with both new and existing customers. We also showcased new items in our Tables and Chairs range, which included a new Grey Wooden Chair to compliment the range of grey and maple height adjustable tables launched last year. The new space saving Wooden Storage Trolleys will be more compact for a smaller footprint in the classroom but without compromising any of the quality synonymous with the Kit for Kids brand.

Our new Small World Mixed Landscape Carpet was a great new addition. The carpet covers the following environments: Polar, Jungle, Desert and Urban. We received excellent feedback regarding the modern additions, which include electric charging points and recycling bins, and the set adds an extra dimension for imaginative play in a small world scenario.   

Another hit was the new Colour Wheel Carpet which sits in our Decorative range but allows for exploring colours and colour mixing. We also launched a number of refreshed designs of current favourites including our Back to Nature™ range, Under the Sea™ and Alphabet range.

We will now carefully consider all the feedback received before finalising our new products for 2021. Keep an eye on our website and social media for sneak peaks throughout the year.
